About this route
The Sulzfluh Klettersteig counts among the finest high-mountain via ferratas of the Rätikon, climbing the south face all the way to the summit of the Sulzfluh. About 1300 metres long and graded D, it offers brisk movement on well-set staples and ladders, enlivened by a few gently overhanging stretches. The starting point is the car park at Partnun near St. Antönien, with the line reached via the Carschina Hütte; approach and descent each take roughly an hour and twenty. The summit views are sweeping, making this a goal for capable climbers who love big mountains.
