About this route
Mein Land - Dein Land Klettersteig is an attractive C-grade gorge route on the Predigtstuhl above the Goisern valley, in the Totes Gebirge region. Climbed at an easy pace, its roughly 280 metres of route reward you with fine views, and the line earns its name from walking through a cave at the start and crossing a beautiful rope bridge. Continuous steel cable, step pegs and an aluminium ladder keep it well secured, with the crux holding to short C-grade moves. It combines naturally with the neighbouring, easier Leadership Klettersteig, which is best tackled first. Bear in mind the start is not precisely signed and the gravel approach from the Predigtstuhl inn follows faded markings, so keep an eye out for the blue signs and small yellow stripes.
