About this route

La Pita - Tramo 2 Las Vinagreras is a short, approachable section graded B/C within the popular La Pita complex near Villanueva del Trabuco. Around 80 metres long with a couple of minutes' walk from the car, it is climbed in roughly twenty minutes and asks you to use rock holds more than rungs. Its highlight is a single-cable monkey bridge, while the lifeline runs overhead in places and the descent crosses some loose ground. Thanks to its brevity and easy access it links naturally with the complex's other sections into a longer outing. It suits less experienced climbers happy to find their own holds on a playful, well-rated line.

Highlights

  • Single-cable monkey bridge
  • Rock holds over rungs
  • Easy link in the La Pita circuit
