About this route
The K4+ variant is the demanding alternative branch of the Arista route on the north summit of the Cancho de la Muela. It is very short, around twenty-five metres dispatched in roughly ten minutes from an almost immediate start, yet the climbing is genuinely technical and graded D/E. Small, polished metal staples offer little to stand on and add bite well beyond what the length suggests. It works best as a sharp extra challenge for experienced ferratists already on the ridge, and is no place for beginners or anyone uneasy with exposure.
