About this route
Hanzova pot up to Mala Mojstrovka is one of Slovenia's best-known and most-visited via ferratas, a B/C outing that fits comfortably into half a day thanks to its quick access. Around 500 metres long, it begins at a well-marked start right by the paid car park on the Vršič pass and takes roughly 80 minutes of climbing. Because of its popularity it pays to set off early and dodge the crowds, especially in fine weather. The descent leads back over the ridge to the original route. It is a great pick for moderately experienced climbers touring the Julian Alps.
