About this route
Furlanova pot leads up Gradiška Tura (739 m) and ranks among the oldest via ferratas in Slovenia, dating back to 1969. Its friendly B/C grade and pleasant character have kept it a long-time favourite, well suited to climbers building experience rather than chasing extreme difficulty. From the larger car park above the village of Gradišče, a roughly 20-minute approach leads to the start, and the route of about 200 metres climbs a slope dotted with scrub before reaching the summit; the descent follows the normal hiking path. It pairs nicely with the neighbouring Otmarjeva pot, so the two can easily be combined into a satisfying round trip in a single day.
