About this route
Ferrata Pamír is a compact grade-C climb on a small freestanding limestone tower above Slovenská Ľupča. Roughly 30 metres lead almost vertically up metal rungs for the first two-thirds, after which natural steps and holds carry you to a narrow summit; a short Zostupovka descent on the far side returns you to a forest path. The approach is minimal, just a few minutes from the roadside parking near the avalanche memorial. The route's name commemorates six mountaineers who died in an avalanche on the Pamir in 1990, lending a quiet poignancy to an otherwise quick and accessible outing.
