About this route
Ferata Pod Škalco Hrastnik is a short but pleasantly demanding circular route on a climbing crag near Dol pri Hrastniku in the Zasavje region. Around 100 metres long and graded C/D, it packs a good amount of fun into roughly twenty minutes, asking for decent arm strength and some ferrata experience. The start sits right by the road with a small parking area; you cross the stream on a footbridge and turn right. Built voluntarily by the local 'Špaltna' alpine section and opened in 2023, it rewards anyone after a quick but engaging stretch of harder moves.
