About this route
Ferata Lisca, the secured path up Lisca above Sevnica, was built by the PD Sevnica mountaineering club to mark its 110th anniversary and reaches a summit at 948 m. It is split into five sections with about 120 m of actual cabled climbing among 250 m of transitions, for roughly 300 m of total height gain. The average difficulty hovers around B/C, but the final stretch ramps up to a demanding D, and the neat trick is that you can step off any section and take an easier bypass path. Starting from the village of Cerje near the Mastnak wine cellar, where fresh water is available, it suits a broad range of climbers thanks to those escape options. The Tončkov dom mountain hut waits at the top with good food, rounding off the day.
