About this route
Cágate lorito is one of only a handful of grade E (K6) via ferratas in Spain, a savagely physical line installed in 2012 near Sant Llorenç de Montgai. The roughly 150 m of equipped rock is almost continuously overhanging and offers very few places to rest, so forearm strength is non-negotiable from the first rung to the last. Expect huge exposure that only grows with height, a couple of imposing roofs, a hanging ladder reached over a 3 m overhang, and zip-lines flung across the void. The climbing itself takes around an hour with a short 20-minute approach and descent, making for a compact but utterly serious outing reserved for strong, experienced ferratists.
