About this route
Bralce - lešť is a grade C training via ferrata built on the Bralce crag for the mountain rescue service, set inside the Lešť military district in central Slovakia. It runs about 350 m with some 50 m of vertical, taking roughly 30 minutes to climb after a short 20-minute approach. Because it lies within a closed military area, the public can only enter with special permission, so this is not a freely accessible route. The crag also hosts an annual rock-climbing competition for fire and rescue squads. For the ordinary visitor it is more a point of interest tied to the work of the rescue services than an outing to plan.
