About this route
Avventura via ferrata at the Speikboden resort is a young, playful route opened in 2021 that lives up to its name. On B/C terrain it strings together fun obstacles such as a three-cable bridge, a Burmese bridge, assorted ladders and an exposed slanted ladder to finish. The line tops out at the cross on Kleiner Nock, with a fine view down into the Ahrntal valley. The cable car to Speikboden plus a short fifteen-minute walk brings you to the start, and combined with the neighbouring Speikboden ferrata it makes a full day; on the way down you also pass a children's pirate ferrata with a cannon, anchor and ship's wheel, which makes it an ideal target for families and playful adults alike.
